An excellent education is one that stimulates learners’ curiosity. Study discovered that when curiosity motivates learning, there is increased activity in the hippocampus, a brain region that is important for forming new memories. Once learners develop interests and motivation, coaches will jump into teaching them, in which they are challenged to solve problems by trial and error through investigation and experimentation.
Learners then elaborate to connect information to be learned with information that they already know. These connections create efficiency of learning and memory. In this stage, coaches will also evaluate learners’ understanding. It will determine if learners have possessed the knowledge. When a learner fails to meet the standards, coaches persevere guiding them to thrive and succeed.
A personalised progress report is available for each learner and accessible through their student accounts.
